Fourth of July Special, Part 1 is the second part of the Fourth of July Special storyline, and the twelfth overall Side Stories episode. It aired on June 25, 2012.

Synopsis[]
Blaise and Jeremy have been kidnapped by a terror group and have only hours to stop their devastating plot!
Plot[]
Jeremy Redbird and Blaise Corso are in the midst of a mass shooting, led by Sebastian Tarly. Jeremy gets shot in the shoulder and crumples to the ground, leaving Blaise to face Sebastian. Blaise tries to beg Sebastian to no longer shoot but he instead smashes his gun at her, causing her to pass out. The episode then flashes back to a year ago, whereby Blaise is in the midst of a service with then-preacher Sebastian, together with her partner, Greg Washburne. When the service ends, Greg and Blaise meet by the stables and they discuss the next attack planned by Sebastian on an American city. However Blaise is caught by Sebastian and is nearly killed when Greg steps in and shoots Sebastian in his leg. Blaise's memory gets blurry and when she wakes up, she finds herself on a stretcher, with Greg checking in her to see that she's fine. Greg tells her that the compound they were working in had been destroyed. In present day, Blaise wakes up after passing out and finds herself with Jeremy and another man, Tom. They figure out that the Sebastian Tarly's next target would be Glen Messner, a presidential target, who was scheduled to speak in a stadium. Sebastian then barges in and fits Tom with an explosive, and also threatens him that if he doesn't comply, he will kill his family. Tom has no choice but to comply. With Tarly out of the way, Blaise and Jeremy manage to get out of the wooden house using the "distraction" method. Blaise then proceeds to rescue Tom's family and is rescued by Jeremy when she was on the verge on getting killed by the armed gunmen. Both of them rush to the stadium an are able to successfully stop the bomb from exploding. Blaise then invited Jeremy to her home and asks if he wants to have sex together with her.

- Sebastian Tarly: Described by Blaise to be a charismatic psycho, who is able to make people follow him. He claims to be a patriot to protect civilians.
- Tom Nazarone: Wakes up in the wooden house together with Jeremy and Blaise; is saved in the end.
- Greg Washburne: Blaise's old partner.
